Light emitting diode or LED is a semiconductor light source that emit light when current flows through it. First appearing as practical electronic components in 1962, the earliest LEDs emitted low-intensity infrared light, infrared LEDs are used in remote control circuits like tv remote. The first visible-light LEDs were of low intensity and limited to red. Early LEDs were often used as indicator lamps, replacing small incandescent bulbs. Later developments produced LEDs available in visible, ultraviolet (UV), and infrared wavelength with high, low, or intermediate light output for instance white LEDs that we usually used for lighting our home, and here are basic types of LED and its Function

1. Color & Color Temperature LED

Color & color temperature LED refer to as RGB (Red, Green Blue), W(white) or WW (Warm White). Red, green and, blue LED is basic source of light spectrum we can extract out of the light spectrum, the warm white LED refer to as 2200 Kelvin to 3000 Kelvin are the combination of the RGB at the different spectrum. similar to the white LED which read from 3500 Kelvin to 6000 Kelvin, the use of color LED light depends on the function and purpose of space.

2. Color LED

5. COB LED

The COB stands for chip on board which is another LED generation and offers a strong amount of light than SMD and has an accessible option as the user considered a beam of controlling light.
