SuperWire is the first family of modular lamps designed by Formafantasma for Flos. A magical and poetic project, with an essential design but a great stage presence, which recalls the work of the great glass masters of the last century. Made of planar glass and polished aluminum, its design originated from the development of a custom-made light source that emits a warm and homogeneous light.

Housing made of corrosion‑resistant die‑cast aluminum AlSi12, polyester powder coated by high‑quality and UV‑stabilized coating process, Colour: black ral 7021, all exterior parts are stainless steel, tempered safety glass, anti‑reflective coating from 1 side, dark screenprint, silicon gasket, housing locked with a grub screw, ceiling mounting: 2 drilled holes Ø 4.5 mm, spacing 35 mm, cable gland: cable entry for recessed cable Ø 7‑10 mm , connecting terminal: 3 pole, highly efficient faceted rotationally symmetrical reflector, integral driver (AC/DC), CRI > 80, max 3 SDCM, service life L90/B10 > 50.000 h, Beam angle (fwhm): 37°, luminous flux: 330 lm, wattage: 5 W, delivered lumens 61 lm/W, protection type IP65, protection class I, impact resistance IK07, windage area 0,005 m², dimensions (L×H×W): 66 × 87 × 66 mm, weight 0.57 kg. The modular luminaire design makes the replacement of components possible. The product meets the demands of the applicable EU guidelines and product safety regulations and bears the CE mark.

Single emission downlights for indoor application. The warm white LED light source with a medium wide flood light distribution is composed of 1 powerled LEDs. The device body is made of plaster and features a white finish; the diffuser is made of pet. The ingress protection degree is IP20; the total weight is of 0.42 kg. The power supply driver is not provided and is to be ordered separately. The power supply cable is included and features a 0.170 m length. The device features protection class III and can be ceiling-mounted, with a 85 x 85 mm hole (in plasterboard). Compliant with the EN 60598-1 standard and its specific provisions.
