The light of this luminaire is directed evenly and highly efficiently onto the surface to be illuminated. No light is emitted into the upper half-space of the luminaire. The LS411COB uses 'Chip on Board' technology to deliver powerful illumination and efficiency in one compact package. The high lumen density, combined with the traditional 'lamp and reflector' optics makes the LS411COB ideal for applications requiring wider distribution such as landscape lighting or other applications where sharp cutoff is not desired. Featuring a wide range of colour temperatures and optical / shielding combinations, the LS411COB retains the versatility of its discrete LED predecessor whilst dramatically boosting delivered lumens.

It runs inside them without requiring to be cut and thus interrupted, drawing in space a network of regular lines, horizontal or vertical, but also freely inclined. From a single power point it can run indefinitely, the only limit being the power installed on its length. Funivia is not bound to a power grid or a predefined design, it can enter any space at any time and draw light with the utmost freedom, it can generate an extraordinary performance quality even without an ad hoc installation a specific intervention in the space. The light elements hook on the cable thanks to a "bridge" element, a kind of current-stealing lock that mechanically fixes the luminaire and takes energy from the cable. Also in this digital network each luminaire has its own identity, its own IP address, through which it can be managed with Dali systems or with Artemide App It is a sustainable approach at the level of production, distribution, installation, consumption, use, integration of elements that already exist without necessarily calling for the creation of new additional products. Funivia breaks a pattern common to existing lighting systems, breaking out of the rigidity of fixed modules (in space, stock, production).
