The concept by BIG combines with Artemide's optoelectronic expertise to define an innovative construction principle and provide a continuous and comfortable light. It is a minimal presence that encompasses not only highly innovative optoelectronic and patented mechanical components but also management innovations. The system is controllable through the Artemide App to create freedom not only in designing geometries but also in defining dynamic performances, programmable or modifiable in real time.

Single emission lines for outdoor application. The warm white LED light source with a flood light distribution is composed of 9 powerled LEDs. The device body is made of aluminium 6060 and features a anodised aluminum finish, processed by means of 20 µm anodizing; the diffuser is made of extra clear glass - tempered with a silk-screening treatment. The ingress protection degree is IP67; the total weight is of 2.8 kg. The power supply cable is included and features a 0.2 m length. The device features protection class I and can be wall lights or floormounted with an outer casing, code 98672(for concrete or masonry). Compliant with the EN 60598-1 standard and its specific provisions.

Cygnus came about due to demand for a track fitting following the style and theme of all our designs, ie: simple, strong and well finished. Cygnus utilises the LEDil reflectors for a perfect and reliable light shape. The extruded aluminium housing and is available in our full range of finishes. Cygnus is supplied as standard with a Tridonic in track adapter, so the control gear is integral. Other adapters are available, but should be specified to the factory.
