The Athena Edge processor provides control andcommunication to Athena system components.The Ethernet links allow communication to the Athenadesigner software, integration with third-party systems,and communication between multiple processors.Athena Edge processors may be connected using eitheran Ethernet hub/switch or router, or by using Ethernetdirectly from a PC to the processor(s). All processors on aproject must be connected to a single network.

The ingress protection degree is IP65; the total weight is of 0.8 kg. The device features protection class I and can be wall lights-mounted.
